Buzzing in ears is a medical condition characterized by hearing noises in the ears minus an outside noise source; it is also referred to as tinnitus.  The buzzing in ears can be either loud or soft; it may sound like a ringing, roaring, blowing, hissing, sizzling, whistling or humming sound.  This is never regarded as a type of disease, but a chief foundation of provoked stress. Certain diseases of the ears like the meniere’s disease which normally affect the inner parts of the ears and the otosclerosis which results in stiffening of various small bones in the ears also causes this condition.
